From April 26 through May 3, 2015, a team of 21 employees from Florida Hospital Flagler, DeLand, Fish Memorial and Memorial Medical Center will be heading to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip.
This will be the first time that all four campuses travel as a regional international mission team.
While on the trip, the medical team members will see patients at 4 different locations. They are anticipating seeing about 200 people per day.
Construction team members will be partnering with Maranatha to build a church in a local community.
The five hospitals in the East Florida Region are members of Adventist Health System, a faith-based health care organization with 45 hospital campuses and nearly 8,300 licensed beds in 10 states.
